The Waverley Inn Holiday Homes
Things to do
Things well-worth a visit while visiting Inverness.
Inverness Castle sits on a cliff overlooking River Ness in the centre of
Inverness. The red sandstone structure evident today was built
in 1836 by architect William Burn.
Inverness Golf Club is located less than a mile from the holiday homes, making them the ideal base for a golfing holiday. Located all within driving distances are many other golf courses, including Castle Stuart.
Urquhart Castle sits beside Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. The castle is on the A82 road, 21 kilometres south-west of Inverness and 2 kilometres east of the village of Drumnadrochit. The present ruins date from the 13th to the 16th centuries, though built on the site of an early medieval fortification.
